And I am lucky enough to have TWO!
Over a year ago this Spunky, Spirited, Diva, whom I have never met before, came to my house to work on some church favors... She has been on my "tail" threatening, I mean, encouraging me ever since to start a blog.
You will never meet a more Pushy, Positive, Passionate, Persistent, Loving, Caring, Gifted women in your life! She is the reason behind this blog and I am forever indebted to her for being that kind of person. Thank you for believing in me with a passion that is so rare!
Amy Ford if you are my only follower then it is worth it!
My first BFF in Texas... Amy Headington... Images of Grace Photography. The Talent, Creativity, Imagination of this Beautiful Girl ( I still say girl bc she is sooooo much younger then me) far surpasses your wildest dreams.
She has truly turned my home, not to mention my heart, into a Ttimeless Treasure with her amazing Godly gift. You will get plenty of glimpses of this throughout my blog - Trust me, you are in for a treat!
She knows me so well and I trust her vision more then my own, that she will just come grab my girls and sometimes my hubby too and make Magical Memories with them. She also knows that when I see the completed work that it is inevitable that there are going to be lots of tears, a true rarity for me. So she puts the pictures on the porch , knocks on the door, and sprints back to the car....lol... So I can have my moment to relish, breath, take in this living art of my most precious blessings.
My Godly, gorgeous, excellent husband and father. Who has "really great hair" (that is the first thing everyone who meets him says..lol)
He generously allows my creativity without question. He travels extensively for work and never knows what he is going to come home too... different decor, moved furniture, painted walls, and definitely more PINK!! He just looks at me with that handsome grin and great hair and says "I get you and love you anyway ;) ". He wont admit it but I know he really enjoys helping me with projects when he is home, who else would work on a Lemonade Stand sign with our daughters for over two hours!!!
Thank you God for bringing me my Knight!
My two "Rock Stars" G and P who inspire me daily. There truly is not enough pages on this blog or ever will be to even begin to tell their story. They make me a better person and I have learned way more from them. The creativity and fun would have never been brought out of me had I not been blessed with these amazing girls. They love working on parties with mommy and have the best ideas. I really think I am turning them in to little "Martha's", they turn everything into a Party!!!
Last but certainly not least..... My God and Saviour, who is still trying to convince me that this is a gift from HIM to be shared. I prayed for a verse for my blog and he faithfully delivered.
Jeremiah 1:5
"Before I made you in your mother's womb, I chose you. Before you were born, I set you apart for a special work"
I am speechless of his never-ending pursuit of me, undeserving of his Amazing Grace and am nothing without HIM! Here's to you Heavenly Father!
Ok I promise that is my very last book. From here on out it will be pictures, party ideas, decorations, out of the box ideas for your home and family. Every day I am working on something. I will go into a store and see the littlest of things and will make up this whole vision in my mind of what I want to do.
My most recent project, which just happened right before I went on family vacation last week and yes I had to get it done before I left.... A while back I saw a "Big Chill" Appliance, if you have never seen one you must go to their website bigchillfridge.com I saw it at Marshall's of all places ( this store is full of hidden treasures if you do not already know) It is a Vintage style Retro Appliance. I could not get my mind off this. I told my husband and he saw the excitement in me and said " you are really going to make me drive up there and look at this aren't you?" and yes we did, but sadly it was too big for my kitchen....
Well this started a series of redecorating events for me.. I looked around my house and thought.. I have way to much wood furniture in this house, I need to make some changes and add some different types of material to "Shake it up" a bit ;)... that I did.. In the middle of the night, while I was sleeping it came to me and yes I do keep a notepad and pen right beside my bed......
The next day I began my search, moved my 3-drawer wood dresser that was holding my linens and started building and building. Here is the finished project.... The start of my vintage/retro kitchen minus my future Refrigerator ;)

I am going to tell you the real reason that I want you to start a blog ... because its for ME! I need your talent, your inspiration, your creativity! Your gift is way too awesome to hide and keep for yourself - you gotta help these women (like me) that need to make our house a home for our family too that inspires creativity. You are an awesome friend and I'm so thankful that I have an ANGEL in my life!!! Love you!

Angel I'm so excited you finally did this! I am going to have so much fun getting new ideas! I love your new kitchen. Most of all
I love to see the love you have for your family and how you try so hard to pour all the love and magical memories you possibly can into each and every day. We all need to learn to do that. You have a beautiful heart and a beautiful gift.
